ATAP’s Eric Esarey Wins AAC Prize

At the recent Advanced Accelerator Concepts Workshop, Eric Esarey, senior scientific advisor of the Lab’s ATAP Division and deputy head of the BELLA Center, was awarded the AAC Prize “…for his pioneering theoretical research in the physics of laser-plasma accelerators.” BELLA graduate student Liona-Fan Chiang was among eight winners of the Workshop’s student-poster prize.
