Lab to Participate in DOE’s $29 Million Investment in Enhanced Geothermal Systems Efforts

Fallon-Carson-Sink-9-720x405Researchers from the Energy Geosciences Division will join Sandia National Lab, the University of Nevada at Reno, the U.S. Geological Survey, the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Navy Geothermal Program Office, Ormat Technologies Inc., GeothermEx/Schlumberger, and Itasca Consulting Group to begin Phase 2 of the Frontier Observatory for Research in Geothermal Energy which was awarded $29 million in enhanced geothermal systems.
