Lab Video Places Second in DOE Contest

Despite valiant efforts by 2,256 Berkeley Lab employees and friends, they weren’t quite enough to match the huge base at the disposal of the University of Michigan in the DOE Frontiers of Energy Research video contest. “Carbon in Underland” came up just 442 votes shy, but garnered a lot of admirers, including Lauren Wolf of Chemical & Engineering News, who wrote a bog entry on the animation titled “Who Knew Energy Research Was Adorable?
