Natalie Roe, a Senior Scientist in the Physics Division, was appointed to a three-year term on the CERN Scientific Policy Committee. The SPC advises CERN management on scientific policy and priorities. CERN is an international particle physics laboratory located in Geneva Switzerland. CERN is host to the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) where the search for the Higgs boson and supersymmetry is ramping up. A Fellow of the American Physical Society, and former chair of the APS Division of Particles and Fields, Roe has worked on a variety of particle physics experiments at CERN, Fermilab, and SLAC. More>
