‘Electric Circuits’ BLISS Workshop Monday, April 4

Employees interested in sharing engaging science activities with local students are invited to participate in the “Electric Circuits workshop. Employees will learn how to guide 4th graders as they safely explore simple and series circuits, short circuits, and the role of batteries, resistance, conductors and insulators. Students apply this knowledge when they invent their own switch design and share it at an Electronic Inventions Festival. The workshop — part of the Lab’s Center for Science and Engineering Education Berkeley Lab in School Settings (BLISS) program — takes place on Monday, April 4, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Building 7-211. Registration is required and lunch will be provided.
