JGI, KBase Staff Put a Personal Stamp on the IGB

On June 22, Joint Genome Institute (JGI) Director Nigel Mouncey and Systems Biology Knowledgebase (KBase) CEO/CSO Adam Arkin gathered JGI and KBase staff for a “topping off” ceremony, signing the ultimate beam to be placed on the Integrative Genomics Building (IGB) now under construction at the Lab’s main campus. Lab Breaks Ground on Integrative Genomics Building

Extending the roots of team science at its birthplace, the Lab will soon bring together researchers from the Joint Genome Institute and the Systems Biology Knowledgebase (KBase) under one roof. The Jan. 31 groundbreaking celebrated the future colocation of these partnering scientific user community resources. The building is scheduled for completion in 2019. More>
