Lab Staff on What Their Asian American Heritage Means to Them

As part of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Julie Kang of the Joint Genome Institute and ESnet Director Inder Monga share some of the ways they connect with their heritage. Kang, from South Korea, has “learned to find my personal balance amongst the various cultures and philosophies around me.” Inder Monga deeply appreciates the Bay Area’s diverse environment, which gives him the opportunity to interact with fellow Sikhs.
