Fleet of Automated Electric Taxis Could Deliver Environmental, Energy Benefits

Using data from more than 10 million taxi trips, ETA’s Jeff Greenblatt and Brian Gerke analyzed the cost, energy, and environmental implications of a fleet of self-driving electric vehicles in Manhattan. They found that such vehicles could get the job done at a lower cost than present-day taxis while also reducing greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption. More>
