Nitric Oxide Key for Building Breast Tissue From Single Cells in 3-D

Research by Mina Bissell and Dan Fletcher of the Biosciences Area sheds light on how the extracellular matrix (ECM) communicates with breast cells to generate nitric oxide (NO). Studies show that the interaction of NO is involved in the relationship between the ECM and the cell nucleus, and influences the pathway a single cell takes to form breast tissue. More>
