EESA Studies Microbe Activity in Arctic Permafrost

New research from the Earth and Environmental Sciences Area explores the impact of a changing climate on Arctic ecosystems with permanently frozen soils. Neslihan Taş, a microbial ecologist, set out to learn more about how soil microbes can contribute to greenhouse gas emissions under a warming climate.
