UC Staff Engagement Survey Deadline Extended to June 9

The deadline to complete the UC Staff Engagement Survey has been extended to Friday, June 9. Berkeley Lab is currently at a 36% response rate. If you are one of the non-represented employees selected to take the survey, you are highly encouraged to do so. More>

  1. According to the initial notice from LBL sent on may 15, the survey was sent to “a representative sample of non-represented employees”. That explains why some of us never received an email from Willis Towers Watson about a UC Staff Engagement Survey.

    The May 15 notice from LBL said the survey would be sent “During the week of May 15”. However, some people received the email 10 days later, and by that time had forgotten about the notice, and assumed that the email from Willis Towers Watson was phishing or a scam. Indeed, LBL IT is working hard to encourage staff to keep an eye out for phishing emails, and I’ve heard a few colleagues state that the survey looked a bit like a phishing attempt, and they asked if the survey was legitimate.

    Some of these factors might explain the low response rate.
