Work Safe on Hot Summer Days

When temperatures rise, employees should plan outdoor work in cooler hours, limit the time in direct sunlight, drink plenty of water, take frequent breaks, and protect themselves from sun exposure. At the onset of a heat-related condition (heavy sweating, nausea, dizziness), contact Health Services (x6266) or, in an emergency, x6999. Go here for more information or contact Julie Zhu (x6871).
