April 17 Seminar on the History of Renewable Energy

Alexis Madrigal, author of the book “Powering the Dream” will give a talk on the fascinating history of renewable energy on Monday, April 17, at 11 a.m. in Building 50 Auditorium. Madrigal is editor at-large at, and former senior editor at The Atlantic and Wired and former visiting scholar at UC Berkeley. The event is hosted by the Postdoc Association and Cyclotron Road.

  3. How about more details about the content of his talk? A full paragraph abstract? This could increase attendance.

    Will this be either streamed in real time or recorded and available after the fact for viewing remotely? We should try to have all these Building 50 lectures webcast for those that can’t make it to Bldg 50 in person
