Campus Program Seeks Mentors for Environmental Education Program

January 24, 2013

UC Berkeley’s Students for Environmental Education Development (SEED) is seeking volunteers to engage students in energy and resource education. The Elementary program works with fourth and fifth graders using hands-on projects to demonstrate how energy is created, used, and environmental impacts. The program builds towards an Energy Fair late in the spring semester. The High School program instructs 12th graders on effective communication skills with semester-long projects focused on energy and resource issues. During the spring mentors will guide their groups on developing a film presentation. Go here to register. For more information, contact Danny Hellebusch.
