Employees interested in sharing engaging science activities with local fifth grade students visiting the Lab are invited to an upcoming training workshop for the Berkeley Lab Adventure Zone in Elementary Science (BLAZES) program. Employees will learn how to guide students as they investigate properties of matter through hands-on science activities. BLAZES is an onsite program for which volunteers are needed from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays-Fridays from Jan. 8 to May 9. The workshop is on Monday, Jan. 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Building 7-211. Registration is required and lunch will be provided.
