The first two testbeds of EETD’s FLEXLAB, the Facility for Low Energy eXperiments in Buildings, have been launched. Constructed within an existing building, researchers and their partners will study and demonstrate energy-efficient lighting and plug load systems, and collaborate in the design of the next generation of energy-efficient, automatically monitored and controlled buildings.
