Got Questions About Extreme Weather and Climate Change? Ask a Scientist!

August 14, 2012

It’s been a summer of record-breaking heat. In our second in a series of “Ask a Scientist” videos, climate scientist Michael Wehner of the Computational Research Division invites people to send in questions about heat waves, extreme weather, and climate change. Wehner uses high-performance computing to study extreme weather events in a changing climate, especially heat waves, floods, droughts and hurricanes. He’ll answer a few of the questions in a follow-up video later this week.

    Michael,

I have a question about changing climate, Do you think CO2 emission is the main factor of extreme weather such as warmer climate, and iceberg melting.

    Thanks !
