The Lab’s Nuclear Science Division and the Center for Science and Engineering Education are hosting Nuclear Science Day on Saturday, March 3. The event is designed for youth in grades six through 12 and will include a tour of the 88-inch cyclotron, cosmic ray detection, and an investigation of radioactivity in our daily lives. All participants will receive an event badge, and Boy Scouts can earn a merit badge. Lab employees are encouraged to invite the troops they lead or their children belong to.
